ROBERT GROSHAK Rob passed away unexpectedly with family by his side on December 24th, 2009. He is survived by his loving wife Sue; brothers Michael (Yvonne), Stan (Anita) and Steve (Kim); as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Olga and Alex. Rob took great pride and joy in his work as the Vision Centre Manager at Wal-Mart. He was a board member of The Opticians of Manitoba and had 18 years experience in the optical industry. Rob was passionate about being an optician and working was fun for him. He was passing on his knowledge to future opticians as an instructor. Family and friends will surely miss Rob's unique sense of humour. He was intrigued with dinosaurs and with history and if he had had his way we would have seen dinosaurs fighting in the Roman Coliseum. One of Rob's secret talents was cooking. He also enjoyed the peace of long road trips and highway driving. Above all, Rob valued family and was most happy when his family was together. Rob will be missed more than he could ever know. A celebration of Rob's life will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In accordance with Rob's wishes, cremation has taken place and an interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
